Bodine adds PEARL membership to electro-mechanical repair credentials

As of March 2020, Bodine Electric is now a full member of the Professional Electrical Apparatus Reconditioning League (PEARL).

PEARL is a national trade organization for companies that supply quality surplus and reconditioned/remanufactured electrical equipment and apparatuses.

PEARL is also an ANSI Accredited Standards Developer. The PEARL Standard was approved by ANSI in the fall of 2018.

The standard is made up of 16 sections, each focused on various types of electrical equipment ranging from switches and circuit breakers to panel boards, transformers, motor controls, protection relays and more. The standard provides in detail the procedures that are recommended to recondition electrical equipment so that it is ready for reuse.
